When the Heart Says No
Have you ever agreed to something while every part of you was saying "no"? Or found yourself held back by fear, only to discover later that your hesitation contained an important truth?
The Buddha's invitation was never simply to believe or to avoid difficult emotions. It was to "come and see"—to investigate our experience with mindfulness, curiosity, and compassion. Fear is not always something to overcome. Sometimes it arises from old habits and conditioning. Sometimes it is a wise messenger inviting us to pause, pay attention, and live more deeply in alignment with our values.
On this podcast we'll explore how mindfulness helps us listen more deeply to fear—not to obey it or dismiss it, but to discover what it is truly asking of us. Rather than trying to eliminate fear, we can learn to meet it with curiosity and compassion, discovering how even our most difficult emotions can become gateways to greater clarity, integrity, and freedom.
We'll begin with a 35-minute guided meditation, followed by the Dharma reflection and time for discussion and shared practice.
